Description
The Trane MOT12295 motor is a single-phase, counter clockwise rotation motor applied on the HVAC systems. This workhorse delivers 1/3 horsepower of driving force and is powered by a standard 230V AC supply, 60 Hz. It has a size of about 14 inches long and thus can be considered a large part of the HVAC unit. This is not like a car engine that has a fixed rotation speed, the MOT12295 has a variable speed range of 825 to 375 RPM. This adjustability means that the motor is able to regulate the amount of air being supplied to the room whether for cooling or heating.
