Description
The York S1-024-35587-000 is an ECM that is highly efficient for use in HVAC systems. This motor, enclosed in a 48-frame size, has a 1/3 horsepower, operates at 240 volts and 850 revolutions per minute. ECM motors are well appreciated for their advanced technology that allows them to operate at variable speed and provide accurate control over temperature and airflow in HVAC systems. In comparison to the standard shaded-pole or induction motors, the energy efficiency is enhanced by the electronically regulated commutation method. ECM technology saves energy, enhances the performance of the total system, and operates more quietly by varying the motor speed according to the load requirement. Some of the advantages of a well-insulated home include; reduced energy bills and improved stability of the indoor climate.
