Description
The Trane VAL2843 is a 1/4″ solenoid valve for use on Trane furnaces and air conditioners. It is an electronically controlled switch that prevents the refrigerant flow in the system. It’s like a valve that’s open or closed based on electrical signals. The valve opens simultaneously when energized allowing refrigerant to flow freely. Instead, it closes when de-energized to prevent refrigerant flow. Trane is usually designed to run at up to 200 PSI and is made of tough materials to last.
