Description
The Aaon P81570 Limit Switch is a temperature control component used in equipment to protect the system from overheating. It uses a 7-inch probe to sense air inside the unit, typically in the discharge or heat exchanger area. When conditions rise into the range, the switch opens the control circuit and shuts down heating operation to prevent damage. Once the temperature falls back toward the lower reset point, it automatically restores normal operation in HVAC systems. Mounted in air handling or packaged systems, it supports maintaining safe airflow conditions and prevents thermal stress caused by restricted airflow, blower failure, or imbalance.
