The Trane DHY1471 Liquid Line Drier is a protection measure in your Trane air conditioning system and against destructive contaminants. A filter that is intended to be used in the refrigerant circuit of an air conditioning system. While basic filters are used for air conditioning systems, this is designed to filter liquid refrigerant lines in high-capacity 10-ton systems. Made of a robust steel casing, this has ODF (slip-on) fittings for the inlet and outlet for easy installation. This liquid line drier is designed with a solid core and its primary function is to eliminate moisture, acid, and debris from the refrigerant during circulation within your system.
