Description
The Trane SWT1279 is an Auto Limit Switch that prevents HVAC equipment from overheating when it is operating. It switches off when the temperature touches 145°F-175°F and turns on again when the temperature drops. This is to avoid damage to the compressors and other parts. Measuring 3.2” x 3.8” x 0.25” it is a compact switch that can be installed in control panels of a range of HVAC systems such as furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. The long working time of 100,000 cycles and pre-plated nickel-zinc terminals make the construction of this type of battery durable.
