Description
The Rheem-Ruud 51-23014-31 A series of motors installed on air handling units and similar uses in HVAC systems includes the 1/4 HP reverser motor. As its name suggests, a reverse rotation of the fan blades for the determination of the direction of air flow within the system is its main function. This motor is 48″ diameter, running at maximum revolution of 1075 RPM using 120V AC power. The rating of 1/4 HP is sufficient in making the fan blades rotate since a considerable quantity of power is needed to rotate the fan blades. The other advantage of the reverser motor is that it may increase the flexibility and efficiency of the HVAC systems. It makes sure that the maximum level of comfort is attained by offering the correct heating and cooling operations through the airflow’s reversal.
