Description
The Sporlan Controls 109570 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part of the HVAC systems and controls the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator. Through sensing the temperature and the pressure, then it is able to also control the refrigerant flow for appropriate cooling. It is for 1-ton R-22 systems and has 1/4”x 1/2” connections and a 30” capillary tube. Generally installed in residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating equipment, this TXV increases efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and increases the durability of the system by stabilizing superheat. It also leads to better control of the cooling capacity and the durability of the HVAC system’s compressor is also enhanced.
