Description
The Trane VAL1917 is a solenoid gas valve that is intended for Trane equipment and systems, such as furnaces and boilers. It is a critical element for control of flow rates of gases within the system. As it turns out, it is a valve operated electronically. On application of 120 volts, the valve is energized and gas flows through the pipe to heat the house. On the other hand, when the circuit is de-energized, the valve drops down and shuts off the gas supply which may cause overheating. This particular control of the gas supply is essentialto the optimal working of Trane HVAC system for effective heating of the rooms in residence.
