The International Comfort Products 1083106 1.5HP Motor is an electric motor that was designed specifically for HVAC Systems. The motor has a rated speed of 1140 RPM and can be rated to operate either at 208, 230, or 460 volts. Such a motor is primarily fitted to enable the rotation of a blower fan in cooling or heating equipment. The fan unit relies on the main electric motor, which has been designed specifically for that purpose, to produce the necessary rotary motion of the fan blade thus allowing for proper air circulation within the geometric enclosure.
