Description
The Trane SWT1271 is an Automated Limit Switch designed for Trane HVAC products that are furnaces and boilers; it measures about 3.2 inches in length. It is used for safety purposes because it helps to shut down the system automatically once the temperature goes high, normally between 180-186°F with ±6°F tolerance. If the temperature goes below a safe operating about 150-174°F with a ±10°F tolerance. The shutoff feature of the Trane HVAC unit also prevents the possible dangers of high temperatures to safety and the unit itself.
