The Trane MOT13121 is one of the constant torque motors that play a critical role in HVAC units that will help deliver consistent airflow for heating and cooling systems. While normal motors reduce their speed when load increases, constant torque motor has a constant speed even when the airflow resistance is high. This characteristic is mandatory for running blower fans in air-handlers and furnaces. The Trane MOT13121 is compatible with 208-230V single phase electrical power and boasts a powerful 1 horsepower rating. It is housed in a 48Y frame and is 10.8” long. The motor has five different speeds and turns in clockwise direction.
