The Trane DHY1468 is a Liquid Line Drier of 3.71 tons capable of handling refrigeration systems. It protects compressors which are the major component of an air conditioning system from corrosion caused by moisture and contaminants in the refrigerant. Water can also freeze up and harm the system and contaminants can cause working loss of efficiency and frequent breakdowns. Placed in the liquid line, the intercepts these impurities before they get to the compressor. Constructed from copper connections and corrosion-resistant epoxy coating, the is designed to withstand conditions in HVAC systems.
