The Trane TRR0825 is a control transformer designed to be used in a number of applications within the HVAC industry. It as a voltage reducer that helps bring down the voltage from that which is supplied in your home. This portable transformer is about 3.5″ in length, 3.03″ in width and 2.56″ in height. It takes the high voltage that enters the building and converts from a dangerous level (such as 208v or 230V ac), to a much safer voltage ( 24v AC).
