The Carrier HC38GE231 is a condenser fan motor that is produced for the Carrier HVAC equipment. It is an appliance part that helps ensure that the cooling performance continues to operate at its optimal level. Located within the outdoor unit this motor turns the condenser fan blade that draws air through the coil to cool the refrigerant. This cooler refrigerant then circulates indoors, providing comfort to the air conditioning service it performs. It is a 1/5 HP single phase PSC (Permanent Split Capacitor) motor.
