The Century Motors ORM5458BF condenser fan motor is single-phase and can handle 1/3 to 1/6 horsepower in HVAC systems. With 1075 RPM, this motor is intended for 208-230V operation. It operates in a manner that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy and powers the condenser fan which has a very necessary duty in the refrigerator cycle. The condenser fan cools the refrigerant and helps the unit run smoothly as needed, accounting for drawing heat away from it. This engine is recognized by its high endurance of cast–steel construction, which means long–term reliability. It is intended to operate in the severe working environment commonly associated with refrigeration applications, including temperature fluctuations and vibration.
