Sporlan Controls 128954 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a high-quality part used in HVAC systems to control the flow of refrigerant to ensure the system works efficiently. Designed for use with R404A refrigerant, this TXV is suitable for 4-ton cooling capacity applications in medium to large commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. ODF of 1/2” x 7/8” and 5 feet capillary tube make it easy to install in various systems. This valve works with the purpose of controlling superheat on the outlet of the evaporator and regulating the refrigerant circulation to the required temperature. It does this to avoid liquid refrigerant from getting into the compressor improving the system’s reliability and its maintenance needs.
