The Lennox 81G48 is a single phase electric motor for Lennox HVAC equipment. The principles of this device are based on the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical rotation. Based on this rotation a variety of components within the HVAC system are driven, such as the blower fan. The 81G48 moves air through the system efficiently at 825 RPM revolutions per minute to help ensure proper heating or cooling distribution throughout your home. It operates relatively on a standard voltage range of 208-230V which is compatible with most commercial electrical systems. The 3 inch shaft length makes it easy to connect to compatible pulleys or couplings inside the HVAC unit.
