The Carrier HC54FB230 is a PSC motor manufactured to be used in HVAC equipment. PSC motors are preferred for use in applications that demand constant running of the motor. This motor operates through electrical energy to mechanical energy for the blower fan of an HVAC system. It then pushes the air through the ducts and affect the evaporator coil which then enables heat transfer and finally distributes cool air throughout a building. This is a strong one, with a 1.5 horsepower and a rotation speed of 1725 RPM.
