Description
The Century Motors 260 is a single-phase, permanent split capacitor (PSC) electric motor intended for continuous operation in a variety of HVAC applications. It uses less energy than other options because it runs at 230 volts and can reach 1500 rotations per minute (RPM) while consuming only 0.85 amps. This PSC motor is appropriate for most indoor applications because of its open drip-proof (ODP) casing, which shields internal components from spilled liquids and dust. It also has a thermal overload prevention mechanism that, if the motor overheats, instantly turns it off to avoid damage and guarantee safety. The Century Motors 260 is used in many different HVAC devices, including as pumps, blowers, fans, and other general-purpose applications.
