Description
The Trane RLY0892 strain relay is mainly used in applications that controls HVAC equipment. They operate in a similar way to electrically controlled switches and are used to control the flow of electricity in accord with the flow of a signal voltage. Relay turns on when 230V is added to the coil meaning that up to 5 amps of electricity can flow through it. On the other hand, the relay switches off and breaks the circuit at zero voltage and the circuit is again energized when the voltage rises to 65V. This switching mechanism is essentialfor controlling various components of HVAC systems in an efficient and controlled manner to guarantee effective operation of the equipment.
