Description
The Trane COM9281 Scroll Compressor is a robust product meant for cooling, small commercial buildings or large houses with the use of eco-friendly R-410A refrigerant. Unlike the conventional piston type of compressor, this Trane compressor employs a scroll for its operations. Inside the sealed housing, two scrolled intermeshing members cooperate like a high-pressure pump to compress refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to a 2.33-ton capacity which is approximately 27960 BTUH sufficient to handle the cooling needs of moderately sized rooms. Brazed stub tubes provide leak proof passage for the circulation of refrigerant and POE oil for lubrication.
