Description
The Trane THT2183 is a high-temperature thermostat, or a single pole, Single throw switch, to control temperature in HVAC systems and other high-temperature applications. This switch acts as a safety device since it automatically allows or blocks electrical current after a specified temperature has been achieved. The THT2183 can take on common loads in your HVAC system and is rated at 240 volts. The internal contacts open (off) or close (on) to send electricity to heating elements or other high-temperature equipment at that predetermined temperature. It is automatic control that prevents your HVAC system from overheating and damaging it so it can work safely and reliably.
