The Amana-Goodman CAP050150440RSP Round Capacitor that is used in 440V HVAC systems only. It has a capacitance of 5 MFD, and thus suitable for driving large motors used in commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This capacitor is in fact an energy reservoir that supplies extra power to the motor at the time of starting.
