The Carrier EA36UZ168 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is used in HVAC and equipment used in air conditioning and refrigeration. It is essential in controlling the circulation of the refrigerant as a result of change in temperature. The valve works on the principle of a bi-metallic coil which gets either elongated or shortened depending on the temperature. This expansion and contraction allows the fine tuning of a valve, to control the quantity of refrigerant gas that can enter into the Cob evaporator unit. Such level of control enhances the cooling characteristics and cooling effectiveness inside the system.
