Description
The Carrier HC39AE209 is a Permanent Split Capacitor motor, which is used in Carrier HVAC systems and is meant for continuous use. This motor is slightly larger, with dimensions of 8.21” L x 5.7” W x 5.7” H, but is well suited to applications that demand a sturdier motor. For its operation, it has a fixed speed of 1100 RPM and rotates counterclockwise. The PSC motor design uses a capacitor to divide the single-phase electrical power into two out-of-phase currents that generate a rotating magnetic field that initiates and maintains the motor operation. It has a voltage of 208-230V and 60 Hz and has a full load current of 1.4A.
