The Carrier HF21BZ015 DC Economizer Motor is a crucial component for HVAC systems consisting of economizers. An economizer that will use outdside air to reduce energy and improve the indoor air quality. A 24 volt DC motor controls an economizer damper valve that controls the flow of outdoor air. The motor itself is made of bi metal material, which reacts to temperature changes. The motor, when actuated opens the damper making space for cooler outdoor air to be taken into the system while it is appropriate. It saves energy by decreasing the constipation on mechanically cooled air.
