The Century Motors OGD1026 condenser motor is 1/4 horsepower and is suitable for use in HVAC systems. This single-phase motor has a speed of 1075 RPM in the counterclockwise direction and is designed for use with 208-230 volts. It operates under the electrical energy to mechanical energy principle where it is the duty of turning the condenser fan of a HVAC system. Obviously, with the help of the condenser fan, fresh air must be blown over the condenser coils to cool the refrigerant. These include cooling processes performed in systems to guarantee their proper working and to avoid damages such as overheating.
