Century Motors XEL2014 1/6Hp Motor 1725 RPM 48N 115V is used in HVAC systems. It is powered by 115V AC and produces a power of 1/6 horsepower with a speed of 1725 RPM. The motor uses the squirrel cage rotor system in which copper bars are placed in the rotor. The rotating magnetic field that is required in the induction motor is produced when the AC passes through the stator windings. This rotating field causes current to flow in the rotor bars to produce a torque that turns the motor shaft.
