The Johnson Controls A28AB-1 is a remote bulb thermostat that is mainly designed for HVAC applications. This capillary holds a fluid that is larger in volume when the temperature is high and smaller in volume when the temperature is low. These expansions and contractions make the thermostat close an electrical switch that switches on or off your heating or cooling system to maintain the temperature. Its remote design enables it to be programmed and used where the thermostat is to be installed other than the cooling and heating system, such as a cold room or a conservatory.
