The Johnson Controls VG7243ST Stainless Steel Normally Open Valve Body is 2″ and is perfect for use in HVAC systems for precision control. This was made of cast bronze with a stainless steel finish, it is durable and can withstand tough weather conditions. This is typically the direct type of valve where the fluid is enabled to flow through when the power is off and therefore SHOULD be used where the valve must operate as a bypass fail-safe. It is also used in 1heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to regulate the flow of fluid when heating and cooling. Usually installed in pipe systems to control flow rates of water, steam, or other fluids in addition to improving system function and temperature control.
