Description
The Lennox 18K80 is an Auto Limit Switch an essential part used in HVAC systems, furnaces, or air handlers. This automatic switch is a secret protector in your system that keeps the operation safe by controlling the temperature. It is designed to operate at a particular temperature range of between 130°F and 160°F. If the temperature goes high above the upper limit, a switch turns off power to the furnace or air handler to prevent damage and protect you from heatstroke. It eliminates overheating and makes the overall reliability of the HVAC system possible. It automatically resets, the temperature goes down to safety, and the system continues working without someone having to put it right.
