Description
The Lennox 83L76 Auto Limit Switch is an essential part used in Lennox residential and commercial HVAC units. This automatic switch is an invisible protector inside your furnace or air handler that keeps an eye on air temperature and will not let it rise to dangerous levels that can harm the equipment. Intended for a particular temperature zone of 140F – 180F, the switch turns off the power supply to the furnace or air handler if the temperature goes beyond this safe zone. This helps avoid cases where the equipment is overheated, and this could lead to a danger of a fire outbreak.
