Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-23610-19 Auto Limit Switch is a thermo-reactive safety control that is installed in HVAC systems to break or reconnect electrical circuits in response to the perceived amount of heat. It has a close contact temperature of 145°F and an open contact temperature of 165°F to enable it to control the fan or burner operation based on internal temperature variation. It is attached to the heat exchanger or duct opening and is attached to the control wiring of the system. In furnaces, packaged heaters and rooftop units it aids in avoiding overheating.
