Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-25350-02 3-inch Limit Switch is a normally closed, auto-reset thermal switch with a 3-inch insertion depth, calibrated to open at 210°F and reclose at 190°F within gas furnace heat exchangers. Mounted directly onto the plenum board, its bimetal disc responds instantly to rising air temperature caused by airflow obstruction, cutting the burner circuit before thermal stress can reach essential levels across HVAC systems. As the exchanger temperature retreats the disc snaps back into position, restoring the heating circuit without any external reset required.
