Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-25350-10 Limit Switch is a safety device that also controls the performance of heating and cooling systems. This auto-renew limit switch is to be used in a range with temperatures operatively settable at 130°F and 150°F to prevent the system from overheating and to ensure safety. It is of single-row, single action type and is used for 120-230 VAC for its working. The essentialfunction of the limit switch is to turn off the power supply if the temperature rises beyond 150° Fahrenheit. It also has the capability of shutting down automatically and rebooting when the temperature reaches a certain level and will operate normally at a temperature of 130 °F. This is one precaution that is necessary to avoid some of the losses from occurring.
