Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-41884-01 High-Pressure Limit Switch is a necessary component of the HVAC system since it helps to protect the unit and the premises from possible danger. This high-pressure limit switch has a 1/4” sweat connection with a pressure span of 440 PSI. This is to ensure that it is self-powered and will power off once pressure hits the safe limit thus protecting the system from high pressure levels. This must be done to avoid pressures that may cause damage to the system, hence enhancing the system’s reliability. It is fitted in both refrigeration and air conditioning systems manufactured by Ruud and Rheem. Maintaining pressure at a level less than set standards reduces the chances of overheating and system breakdowns, equipment durability is enhanced and efficiency is increased.
