The Sporlan Controls 109631 1/2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used with R404A refrigerant in HVAC systems.Specifically, It has a connection size of 1/4” x 1/2” ODF to allow for connection with different systems. The TXV functions through the detection of temperature of the evaporator and regulating the refrigerant flow. This dynamic control optimises the performance of the system, and maximising energy consumption and minimising operating costs. This leads to an enhancement of system availability and equipment life cycle.
