The Sporlan Controls 128934 3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a essential component which is used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator of HVAC systems. Designed for R404A refrigerant and has a 5/8” x 7/8” ODF connection. This TXV allows the system to operate at its better efficiency and reliability by regulating the flow of refrigerant in line with the heat load of the evaporator. It is essentially used in refrigerator and air conditioning such as commercial freezer, chillers. The TXV regulates the flow of refrigerant and prevents flooding or starving of the evaporator and increases the equipment’s life.
