The Sporlan Controls 129838 8-Ton TXV is suitable for HVAC systems that use R-22 refrigerant. It has an 8-tonnage and has 1/2” x 7/8” ODF connections that enable it to be easily fitted into different HVAC systems. This valve works in such a way that the amount of refrigerant coming through it to the evaporator depends on the temperature with the result that superheat control is much improved and system efficiency is also increased.
