The Trane COM11973 Compressor is a robust machine that can deliver, cooling in large commercial applications but uses R-22 refrigerant. This Trane compressor is not a piston compressor instead it uses a scroll for its operation. Within the enclosed casing, two intertwined scrolls act like a rapid throughput pump to compress the refrigerant gas. This design corresponds to a considerable 3.43-ton capacity, that is 41,160 BTUH, which will be sufficient to handle high cooling loads in large spaces. Rotolock connections provide leak-free refrigerant circulation with mineral oil for lubrication.
