Description
The Trane RLY1172 SP4T Fan Relay Coil is an electromagnetic switch that was designed to work solely with total control whole home systems. It requires low voltage signal to control high voltage electricity, therefore switched on or off a fan motor. A thermostat or control board sends a low voltage current of 24 volts into the relay. In another output high voltage circuit (230V, for instance), this low voltage signal acts as a switch. Due to this design, the low voltage control system is insulated from the high power fan motor thereby enhancing on controllability and safety.
