Description
The Trane SWT1263 Automatic reset limit switch is used to safeguard HVAC system equipment from dangerously high temperatures. It works within a temperature of 180°F to 210°F. When the temperature rises above the 210°F opening temperature, the switch opens to cut off the power supply to the equipment to avoid damage. When the temperature decreases at the end of the process to the 180°F closing temperature, the switch resets and the equipment comes back to life. This auto reset feature is essential because it does not require human intervention and hence the system will always be running of the time.
