Description
The Trane SWT1272 is an Automated Limit Switch used in the safety and temperature regulation of Trane HVAC products including furnaces and heating systems. It oversees the temperature of the system and will turn off power if the temperature goes beyond a certain limit; is usually between 220-250°F. The function is to ensure furnace does not overheat or cause any kind of damage to the furnace and nearby elements. Measuring only 3.2” x 1.88” x 3.8” allows it to be installed easily with the HVAC system. The constant and secure operation of the heating system through regulating temperature while protecting it from getting too high.
