Description
The Trane THT2437 is an automated limit switch that shuts down your HVAC system when temperatures are too high. This safety thermostat, as it is called, is preconfigured to shut down the system in a given temperature range, in this case, 160°F to 190°F. It can also stop your HVAC system from overheating and blowing up itself. It’s a 7″ insulated lead for easy installation and it’s used most of the time in furnaces, heaters, and other heating equipment. The Trane automatically adjusts the temperature to avoid overheating and to help your HVAC system run safely and reliably, potentially reducing the chance of failures and extending equipment life.
