Description
The Trane TRR0455 is a must-have transformer for Trane HVAC systems. This compact unit is 2.5″ high, 4.6″ long, and 2.7″ wide and the universal frame makes for easy installation. It is a transformer that reduces incoming electrical voltage. Trane HVAC systems use the higher primary voltage of 200V to 230V and reduce it to a safer, easier-to-handle secondary voltage of 24V. The low voltage is needed to supply power to the control circuits and other low-voltage components on the HVAC unit. It has a power rating of 35VA and can take a specific load capacity.
