The Watts 590719 1/8″ Duovent High Capacity Air Vent 240F 150 PSI releases trapped air from closed-loop piping, allowing uninterrupted fluid movement through heating circuits. It operates through an internal float and valve assembly that opens when air accumulates at the vent location, then closes once liquid reaches the chamber in HVAC systems. It is threaded into high points of piping or equipment headers during commissioning or maintenance. In boiler and circulation networks, it removes air pockets, stabilizes flow conditions from gas, and maintains even heat transfer across connected hydronic sections.
