Description
The York S1-025-29041-004 Auto Limit Switch is equipment that is used to protect HVAC equipment from excessive heat. This is normally done when the temperature goes above a certain level, which is normally between 130°F and 160°F, whereupon it shuts down the system. This component has a thermally activated component that is sensitive to changes in temperature. When the temperature is too high or too low, the switch turns on and breaks the electrical circuit of the HVAC system. This switch also turns off when the system is hot and turns on again when the system cools down and thus normal working is allowed.
