The York S1-025-33325-000 Auto Limit Switch is a safety accessory that is required for HVAC systems. It is meant to cut power to equipment in a bid to avoid overheating, a level that is predefined by the system. This variant has an insertion length of 3 inches and works at temperature between 165°F to 195°F. In other words, it works as a conscientious sentinel that monitors the system temperature all the time. It consists of a temperature switch that shuts off the electricity once the temperature goes beyond 195°F and therefore protects the HVAC unit. However, when the temperature decreases to 165°F, the switch resets and the system is back on.
